One thing that did happen as a result of writeforme...

There was one task setter on there, a findom, who wrote some amazing tasks. She was also Scottish which is quite unusual and a big thing for me, being Scottish myself. The tasks were so good I ended up sending her a small amount of money, as they requested (about £40 in total) I’ve never really done that before. Didn’t get a reply. Contacted her on twitter eventually. She went mental, said it wasn’t her, was someone pretending to be her. Thanked me for letting her know. That was a big disappointment. Oh well.

Here’s the thing though...she said goodbye then...I asked her if she would like me to send her money. She immediately demanded I send her money and subscribe to her site. Turned out that was just about the hottest thing ever. Long story short...24 hours later I was down £110 and had a near meltdown. I’ve disengaged now but it was very intense and scary and I feel very bad about it.

I think, in hindsight, I didn’t think it through and chose the wrong person and the wrong approach.

I think in my head I had planned a long term thing, with someone slowly taking my money over a period of months or years. Maybe getting me to pay for subscriptions or content and then forbidding me to look at it, having me give up buying or using certain everyday things so the money could be sent to them. I had even looked into a few sites where you do low paid work online and I had signed up for a couple. I thought maybe I could slave away for hours for pennies and then hand them over. 

I didn’t take time to explain that, or think it through, and probably picked someone who does things in slightly different way. She moved so fast and it was so hot that I couldn’t think. My fault, not hers.

Maybe I’ll try it again sometime. Once I’ve saved up, of course.
